This wheel bearing mount gets welded to the Carriage cross member when completed.
The hole diameter and bolt pattern on this face will be determined by the wheel bearing that you get.
I used 4″ steel Angle for the surface that the bearing mounts on. You could also build it from steel plate welded at 90 degrees.
The wheel tracking angle is adjusted by loosening the 2 bolts slightly, then move the wheel to the desired angle and then re-tighten when desired angle is achieved.
**TIP** If you want a fine adjustment you can make up a quick adjuster by taking a piece of threaded rod with a nut to place between the frame and the wheel. Make your fine adjustment, re-tighten bolts and then remove the threaded rod.
